Individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities are uniquely impacted by the many changes that have come with the emergence of COVID-19. This webinar will focus on practical tips for families in supporting children with developmental disabilities during this time. We will discuss strategies for designing and implementing new routines, ways to approach explaining changes in daily life due to COVID, and how to maintain social skills virtually. We will also share resources specific to individuals with ASD.

Talking with our young and grown children about sexuality can be a difficult task. As parents and guardians, we often worry whether talking about it gives permission and whether they can be safe from harm when they are in relationships. This workshop will help you become more comfortable discussing this topic by covering what topics to cover when and the most effective ways to talk about this sensitive topic.
