As part of CUNY’s leading role in the movement to provide expanded access and services to neurodiverse students on the college campus, the Central Office of Student Affairs Disability Programs hosts the annual CUNY Neurodiversity Conference each year in March. CUNY’s two signature neurodiversity initiatives, Project REACH and CUNY Unlimited, join with stakeholders to share best practices for supporting students while they’re in college and during transitions to and from campus.
Join us for an informative and engaging two day event with experts and advocates in the field who are developing innovative best practices for neurodiverse transition age students from college to career. We are excited to welcome back presenters from the planned Neurodiversity Conference 2020, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The full agenda and schedule will be published in mid-February.

Tele-what? What is telehealth? What is telemedicine? Are they different? How do I navigate these appointments with my child? Do I have the same rights as I do during an appointment at the office? What accommodations do I have to request to make these appointments truly family-centered? Do I have the technology I need to make these appointments happen effectively?
Come explore the world of telemedicine as Lin Perry, Project Director for the Family to Family Health Information Center at Parent to Parent of NYS presents part of the Nuts and Bolts of Telemedicine: Essentials for a Family-Centered Care Experience, part of Telehealth Curriculum developed by Family Voices National with funding through the 2020 CARES Act. We will provide you the information and resources that you need to make your child’s telehealth appointments the best possible.
