SIDDC Residential Quality of Life Meeting

The purpose of the Residential Quality of Life meeting is to identify and address issues pertaining to the quality of life of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in residential settings. We discuss all aspects of residential programming, including regulations, role of staff/clinicians and residential opportunities. Meetings are held on a monthly basis and our committee participates in an annual presentation.

Nineteen local FSS Advisory Councils made up of individuals with developmental disabilities and family members plan, coordinate and monitor the delivery of FSS across the state.  In addition, a Statewide FSS Committee made up of one representative from each of the nineteen local FSS Advisory Councils advises OPWDD regarding families’ support needs and the design, implementation and monitoring of FSS.

Come hear the current updates & how the involvement of all members of the support circle are needed to ensure the Assessment reflects the support needs and desires of people with I/DD
