ADAPT: NAVIGATING EMOTIONAL DISTRESS IN CHILDREN

DESCRIPTION: This presentation will help parents, caregivers, and professionalsto identify signs
of emotional distressin young children (e.g., anxiety, depression,trauma). Learn how to become
familiar with triggers in order to prevent difficult situations from occurring. Identify new
strategies as well as take advantage of existing protective factors that may help young children
cope with emotional distress.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Parents, family members, caregivers and professionals who want to enhance the lives of
